His actions make sense, and I wouldn't call him a red flag. Being that the Everett family is supposedly evil, and may have actually thought that the FL was going to manipulate him (which was going to be the case if she listened to her family). Distancing himself from her would be the best course of action, to prevent himself from being manipulated.
My issue is that the ML is incredibly plain, and boring. He fell in love with the FL at first sight, WOW. So original. He buys her lots of gifts even though the dukedom is poor. WOW such a great leader.
Not to mention that the FL and the ML have no chemistry. (I get that it's because the FL's telling him to fuck off). But still...

Yeah, that pisses me off most, like he left her just like that in hands of males, if she was graped he wouldn't even care MF, he doesn't deserve any chance and if author had common sense they would finally make MLs like him pay for what they did or even kill them off, them crying because woman they mistreated finally left them just isn't enough, they have trauma but then what about trauma of FL? She had terrible childhood and then even her adulthood is bad, fuck them red/orange flags MLs
This guy must be one of the most boring looking, bad written MLs I've seen, other red flags at least look good, with this one you can't even say "He's red flag but hot" he's just average looking trash
Actual piece of shit, every other character's expressions are spot on but when it comes to him he's soulless, his action are dumb asf, even without memories he still didn't even try to punish his aunt and with his memories back he is still fuker, both versions of this MF are just bad
Audacity to say "I've never hated you" after mistreating her for year and half YEAR AND HALF is insane, no content behind, nor reasoning, explanations could excuse his behavior in any way
