Some probably are, but there’s also a reason why South Koreans are so sensitive when it comes to bullying scandals from celebrities, even with no evidence. Also, if you know the kdrama “The Glory” that was based on real life events (not revenge, but bullying aspect). Furthermore, if I’m not wrong, bullying is the first or second main cause for suicides among youth in SK. Keep in mind South Korea also has the highest suicide rates in the world (people just idealize Korea so much they often refuse to accept any criticism or issues with it).
And if u wanna see just how bad law system is (aside from drugs maybe) read about ”Burning Sun” or “Nth Chat Room” cases. Literal sex trafficking/torture with little no none punishment. Or tbh any sex crimes related cases.
Biggest issue affecting birth rates in Korea is due to economy, it’s expensive to have children (kinda like in the rest of the world). But yeah, then there are also issues like extreme misogyny (4B movement) and toxic work culture etc. Just now actually a new big case emerged called a “New Nth Chatroom”/“Telegram Chatroom” and it’s honestly just… kinda shows you how women are being treated there and how serious sex crimes in Korea are (even with their apparent low SA statistics (not accurate)). Reading all the recent news there makes me seriously hate men

It low-key kind of clicked js how lawless this school is like if the FL had like died frfr ....that's manslaughter....like ionno how SK runs their law ish but like there should be AT LEAST one adult like figure for acc justice cause wtf and I get that this stuff is fictional but like.. I js feel like ther should be a level of relatability in the work you know cause this is feels out of touch in a way but that's js for know
