Yeah, apparently while we see Alyssa having black hair, she originally had silver hair and Marianne used black magic to take her place, so their appearance was switched and she got the love and everything Alyssa originally enjoyed. Something like that I think
So she was loved by her og family too and Marianne took that away replacing Alyssa's existence in a way. If the plot does something like that with her new family too I will find the writer and *respectfully* beg to not do that

What? I feel that everyone is overthinking this a bit. Marianee appereantly masks herself with magic to look and act like Alyssa with black hair and green eyes,while the actual Alyssa dies. The mirror there shows the actual Marianne with her features. The siblings apperantly see Alyssa but everytime that the magic wanes a bit and they reminisce like the older brother has done before and the second bro this chap,they seem to remember the og Alyssa and kinda know deep down that the fake one "the one at home aka Marienne" aint here just from the mention of her name and presence. What they see fools their eyes but not their heart. Its just that they have blinded their heart. But all along Alyssa has had black hair and green eyes bthw.
Also the mirror shows the actual Marienne as seen from everyone s eyes and her magic makes her see what she wants to be the most I think,which is Alyssa. Wheares the real one is the one we see. Also Alyssa herself describes herself with black hair and green eyes,unless she is also brainwashed which makes no sense to kill her then,only then may she have forgotten how she herself looks. Maybe author just wants to do this twist to satisfy everyone who wished she looked more like her past self or smth stupid.
So marienne simply switches their appearance/replaces her but the their of appearances are as they were shown?
I don't really remember a lot of the plot anymore but I thought it was weird for her to have white hair and Alyssa's talk at the start of the manhwa and chapter 3 makes you think she never received any love so it wouldn't be weird to think she got brainwashed as well. But I feel like I might be overcomplicating it like u said ┐(‘～`;)┌
