Right? It's like everything should be sunshine and rainbows and no one is allowed to be vengeful. I still can't get over the fact that Satowa's mom got almost no consequence for what she did. And now, here comes Chika's dad. Don't even let me start with Uzuki. If Chika's mom appear in the future, I'm sure she'll be forgiven just as quickly. Everyone is just so damn kind and forgiving. But I get it. This is just that kind of manga. I still love it and will continue to love it no matter what. I'm just going to focus on the Tokise kids, so I won't have to think of the other characters I don't like. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Fr :( and I don’t know, maybe it’s my personal opinion, but the message being “forgive everything others do to you no matter how awful it is” doesn’t look so great so far ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ this man literally neglected and abused his child, not to mention he blamed him for the death of the only decent adult he had around, he can’t get away with an “I’m sorry bro” Σ( ̄□ ̄||)
But yeah, we love this anyways because the art and the atmosphere is so nice (▰˘◡˘▰) other than this thing, the mangaka writes their characters so well! So guess we’ll have to make do with what we have jajajaja

Chika atleast had a gradfather to help him. Between that sick granny and her mom, the fact that Satowa turned to be the way she is simply a miracle. Honestly, I'm just waiting for the Tokise performance to get over so I can cut the whole damn thing loose.
It started out so so good, but knowing that actually abusive adults are getting a pass, while everyone and their mother is hating on the poor Uzuki is just getting depressing.
Knowing how the mangaka writes, Chika's father will def only get a slap on the wrist, just like Satowa's mom. Oh well. At least all's well that ends well, I guess?
