I started reading this back in 2021 but dropped it cause I didn’t want to wait for new chapters. At the time I really loved it, I can’t say the same now.
A. Percy doesn’t actually love her? He was so against the thought of being with her at the bringing due to the family she came from. Then he started fucking her and was like “I didn’t know you were a freak like that” and did a complete 180… like hello?!
B. Sammy was fucking annoying. At first I really liked his character design and clumsy cute boy aesthetic. Though as the story progressed I disliked him more and more for his selfish stupidity. Like I’m so sorry but if you went after a Nobles woman like that more than 3 times fr they would’ve had you executed on sight.
C. Horrible side stories What was the point of either of the side stories? One was just Sammy jerking it to the Duchess in his sleep and the other was Percy playing with her tit milk while talking about their newborn HELLO?!
D. The random characters There were so many characters introduced to the story that genuinely had nothing to do with anything. The most notable one was probably that woman at the beginning of who sat in the Duchess’s chair. Her character design was so pretty but nah she literally never comes back. Then there’s the random couples that don’t contribute a thing!
Lastly, the bad translation and missing chapters made this difficult to get through.
Throwing that all aside the art style towards the start was so peak for its time but how we ended off seemed very lifeless.
