OK, I read this forever ago so I'm fuzzy on details. I think it was a manga. The mc accidentally (or on purpose idk) kills the guy that you think is going to be the ml to like a shoujo romance. Basically you think the mc and this guy are going to fall in love, but when she kills him she has to figure out what to do with the body/act like he's still alive.
