I think it's hate because of the fact that he acts 2 faced and that he's literally doing nothing but complaining and getting upset that mc won't stay/leave with him. Despite the fact that the blonde is doing nothing for them to be prepared to leave. I don't hate him but I strongly dislike him and I know he's just a plot device.
