Assuming that the gangster was indeed the uke destiny, I think that the gangster would not love the brother if the thread were still connected ╥﹏╥ when they met, the thread was already ripped... Basically, if the thread was not cut, uke would be happy with his destined partner now (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Uke's love destiny is messy in itself. Just imagine being tied by the red thread to someone who's in love with your brother you could create an entire angst manhwa based on that already
