Owen went back to the past a bunch of times, they have a mass grave for each nux that died in the respective timeline, nux is going to nuke his grave.

There’s some statues and there are some actual bodies. The statues are to replace the bodies that don’t exist anymore for whatever reason. I forgot why.
I take it as Owen took Nux’s body’s with him to another timeline in the past. But if something happened to Nux’s body in the process he would replace it with a statue bc he couldn’t let go.
Hence the grave room.
