if you want a sum the blondie is as freaky as ever and the brunette finally lost his shit too but if you want details we found out eunhan(blonde) made a deal with an evil ghost when he was a kid and the ghost grant him 7 wishes in exchange for 1 wish from him and he used his 7th wish to be kim hangyul(brunette) and that's how the red thread appeared between them (the ghost connected their lives) but hangyul's thread originally was connected to his brother's gangster friend(heewon) and if eunhan and hangyul stay close to each other their bad luck will strike more and more (mostly for eunhan) bc of the deal eunhan made but ofc they won't do that you know why...
ML has always liked/been obsessed with MC since they were children, but he only recently came to terms with it. He was dismissive of his feelings for MC in the past because he assumed once he got to "play" with him he would eventually get bored and toss him away, but as you can see the opposite happened lol
Oh you're probably talking about the MC, tbh it just seems like he has shit taste in men and got swept up by ML after they've been sleeping together. I mean from his view ML helped him restart his career and is also keeping his ghosts away, which makes him view ML favorably.

The thread is half black because ML made a deal with an evil spirit that forcibly bound him to MC, he wasn't MC's original destiny or fate. The guy(debt collector?)with the other half of the red string was and since its broken it's probably why he didn't return MC's feelings and fell in love with MC's brother instead
