This is pretty nice

I like how they formatted the mc
1. Yes they make him a pos in the beginning, but they quickly make him realize he is a pos and he adjusts it (very uncommon in yaoi/bl)
2. They make a good nonstereotypical gay friend, if I were the friend of the ml I'd be pissed at how my bff's being treated too
3. The mc's is very realistic with his reaction, he is sad for a bit but then he gets curious as to why, this is very uncommon in bl because most manga/manhua/manwha rely on dumb communication issues to stretch a manga and yes this is another communication issue, it seems like this'll be a short term one

I'm actually quite curious as to how this'll turn out. (I need to go outside)

Omg yes!! Also idk why people are hating on the top so much like he knew the relationship was bad and he tried to cut it off multiple times and all of them the bottom begged to continue. He wasn’t a clueless innocent baby. The viewers aren’t like the bff they actually know how both characters are feeling. I get it he was an ass at the beginning but not like some evil mf

Yeah so far, the story's quite progressive and realistic compared to other yaois. It makes sense that the ml can't get any treatment for his obvious repressed trauma because he's a celebrity (I think more specifically part of a kpop group, which are known for quite harsh conditions).
I really hope that the author doesn't mess it up like the author of Night Fragments

totally agree! its also so rare to see a top MC, especially since most bl I've read have a bottom MC.

yeah, he might be kind of a jerk at first, but he's super self-aware and straight-up admits that he's a scum. but despite that, he actually respects boundaries when it comes to sex—something a lot of tops in BLs don't do, tbh (the bar is on the floor ). there are even some awkward, goofy sex moments at first, and he has to do a bit of research, which honestly makes sense since he's a virgin. it just feels realistic and super refreshing to see!

he's definitely not perfect and he has his flaws. but I gotta say, his character is really well-written so far.
