Don't expect any romantic development early in the story, FL and ML only meet in around chapter 75 (?) And the story focuses more on defeating shaitan & preventing the great catastrophe. According to the hallucinations FL saw, they were in a romantic relationship in the past time line. In the current time line, up to chapter 157+ they hardly made any progress. Ml just became conscious of fl. FL hasn't developed feelings but she cares for ml.
Their first kiss in the current timeline is in Chapter 183.
