I'm referring to the novel. Part 1 has 90 chapters, and has the same ending just like that latest chapter in the manhwa before the side stories (the one I mentioned above). I don't think the part 2 with 88 chapters will fit in the side stories.

I don't know if they are gonna follow the novel but I think this is just the finale for part/season 1? From what I have remembered in the spoilers, there's part 1 and part 2 and there's like side stories every ending for each parts. For this season, the side stories are about the couples' daily lives, Ray doing his self-experiment and advancing his wizardly rank, a duel between the two couples and etc.
In part/season 2, we will see the peace talk between El Fasher and Strass, Ray meeting Edrich (brother), the revelation of his death, and MC knowing that his own brother has a thing for him
