I think she is supposed to be the "normal reader." We identify with her, because most of us are not raised with the idea than sharing a husband is a good thing. So, we go into this weird relationship against our will (out of financial need), and then find we love the guy and like or get along with the girls, so we adapt. But the ideal, still, in our hearts, is to be one-one, not one-three. I dont' know if it will end up all four back together (after problems) or just Ryuu and Koharu (my preferred happy ending).
But Koharu is the reader-attached one. (Although I assume someone who loves the idea of this foursome and has a particular personality might see themselves more as Ryuu or Yuzu or Madoka.)
In fact, I'd rather be Ryuu: the one woman with three husband and they can very well go and dote on me and earn lots of money and keep me well and spoil me rotten. But one of three wives: fuck that. Only like an apocalypse where men are scarce could justify that for me.
Even though in this manga koharu chan maybe the most selfish one (they mention that) here, but she is the mostttttt Normal one in this hare kon. Her insecure feeling, questioning all the absurd life in hare kon daily life, but that what most if the women in the world thinking. I just love her and it is difficult for me to accept his husband, the 1st and 2nd wife thougt. But as a family, i love their interaction each other. And i dont disguise this manga, even though i do hate harem manga generally. This manga seems fascinating
