honestly mc deserved this and literally everything Jinhyeon said was right I get that he was scared but if you're scared in a serious relationship with someone you fucking talk to them about it. that's the thing. they either comfort your fear and you guys grow stronger for it or they mock you for it and then you can end things, but dragging it out for a year or however long the mc did will just end in a complete breakdown of trust. and honestly jinhyeon stuck around for a lot longer and gave mc a LOT more chances to explain himself than a lot of people would have. Jinhyeon extended so much trust, and mc couldn't. at the very least that's a fundamental difference in how they approach relationships and it might not be something that can be overcome. if you can't trust someone, you can't be in a relationship that lasts, that's just a fact. idk how this is gonna have any kind of a happy ending now tho lmao mc's already apologized and Jinhyeon rejected it. so. that's it.
