You’re right.. But as outsiders, we just hate seeing people fall for it. I also went through a relationship with someone toxic, who I couldn’t leave even though I definitely should have.. And I’m still here calling Ari stupid for falling for Mincheol’s lies and manipulation it’s always easier to do that when you’re not the person going through it
And it’s also not being unsympathetic. Of course we feel bad for her or anyone going through it.. I think we just EXPECT people to know and do better, even though it’s easier said than done when you’re the person in the situation.
I agree. I don't tend to immediately feel "oh no honey" when a character falls for a narcissist even though one damn near ruined my life. I tend to think "noooo you stupid biiiitch!" Because that's what I say to myself too lol Idk, I don't find it hating on her so much as we are mad we've fallen for it too and hate to see it.
