You are so real for this and I fear its about to be this kind of plot
Like no huhu I feel so bad for the mc, you can see that he's really looking forward seeing the his "friend". It's so typical that mc don't pay attention about the rumors regarding about their so called "friend" whom they hasn't seen for a very long time
