Oke haven’t finished yet I’m at ch35 but I gotta say it’s so niceeee it’s like a perfect romcom, top was a little shit but bottom isn’t pathetic submissive he’s on equal terms with him talking back with a fun enemies to lovers dynamic, but also top is a sweetheart always realistically having the bottoms best interests at heart, raising his standards so he never thinks of settling for shitty ex level of people ever again,

And the arc between them starting to like each other, bottom going on blind date and them finally getting together is so nice and gentleeee

Also love how the characters aren’t flat, like their thoughts and stuff, the top noticing stuff about him but deciding not to tease him about it, or like idk the dialogues of like “oh so you were talking shit about me?” “He said ‘you guys’ so you were talking shit too” like I notice smth like that but the character himself points it out too like YES AHA EXACTLY, or like when bottom noticed the top slipped up and said something about sex with lights on when he was defending him from his ex even tho he was later tryna pretend he didn’t know the guy was the shitty ex,

like they’re cuteee, but also hilarious watching the top giving a whole sex Ed lecture of “DONT ever ever give a guy a chance that says it’s fine without a condom” and ten seconds later he does it without condom lmao

Also unrelated but I randomly got so excited in ch17 the river scene cause my weird brain recognized the place from Sense8 (that I haven’t watched in yearsss) and Googled and it WAS the place AND I RECOGNIZED JUST BY STAIRS GOING INTO WATER LIKE AAAAA like I have no idea where that is I just made the connection and it was right but ANYWAY
