ML knows why MC choose to work, and has probably guessed that his problem with ''dangerous situations'' and physical touch is due to a trauma, but he's still manipulating him to serve his own interest i'm gonna be so pissed when the author is gonna give him his little ''redemption'' arc.. if his reaction after learning about MC's past is ''omg i didn't know you went thru that, i shouldn't have forced you to relive your trauma'' i'm gonna be so pissed cause he definitly knew something was wrong
