btw not necessarily talking about this manhua specifically, as i haven't gotten past the first chapter (nothing could compensate for the supposed ml r**ing the mc right at the start BFR - if you can excuse this shame on u) and idk how the plot expands but i'm talking about the broad spectrum of these typa stories. i'm just SO over them.
you guys, i've realized we are only reading stories with these dumb ahh plots and awful characters bc there's not much better out there and this has become the standard. we're basically settling. after re-reading chang ge xing recently, i just can't read shit like this anymore knowing how it used to make my brain rot, and that there are such beautiful works out there, although on the rare side.
