I totally agree with you on the first point! But I think it's really worth noting that he has since been doing EVERYTHING in his power to make Mokhwa the happiest he could (at least in his opinion) and to redeem the irredeemable. So I dare to say, we have a good amount of hope Mokhwa will end up safe and happy :)
Tho what ml did is unforgivable, I’m happy that he realizes that and is going to give his life to make it up. Hope mokhwa ends up happy
