i can give some form of insight into why she chose to go back home
she was raised in a toxic environment and because of that its what shes used too. people who were raised in and environment like that or was with someone who was toxic for a multitude of months or years will grow accustomed to it. i know someone who was in a toxic ass relationship for nearly two years and left but because of that they think thats the kind of relationship they deserve or a form of relationship they go back to or expect things with whatever partner they have to be like.
lariette went back to her family because she had nowhere else to go and it was something she was used to. even tho she was with someone who treated her well and genuinely loved her it wasnt really something she was use to.

I think she's not able to make a plan yet since whe just doesn't know how to operate going forward cause she didn't expect to get this far. Its a good thing but I think she isn't happy yet because in her eyes she threw everything away for nothing
she probably thinks she cant go back to explain everything since there's rumors everywhere that asrahan is also looking for her and wants to hurt her. There was a point where lariette knew he loved her but was scared he would hurt her for lying, and I think the rumors are bringing those fears back
I just don't get why did she decide to come back to that trash family now. I mean I get that she run away and all but couldn't she just find a job and live the way she wants to? Why go back somewhere when you left just keep going forward and she is powerful af couldn't she just work as magician in magic tower or dunno open a store or just travel the world?? Lmao I'm not criticise her I'm just curious in why going in all that trouble just to go back home like you just survived girl live the life!!
