i feel like haesoo was fine with being called an ajumma to begin with (she even told beom to call her that and even called herself it) but when it was put together with the "why isn't he dating in his age group" argument it hurt her. i think she never thought of it like that you know? i'm sure the coworker didn't have any ill intent, there's no way she could know what haesoo is thinking
And by that I mean towards her coworker. I agree with her trying to disuade MC because she is under the assumption MC is a married woman and should not be interested in the romantic attention of someone else, cuz that would be cheating. But we know that MC is divorced and her ex-husband is a shitbag but the coworker doesn't. So I can see why she is trying to convince her otherwise (at least I hope this is the reason and not something so basic as jealousy over a pretty girl because of a hot dude)
HOWEVER there was no need to call her an Ajumma like that, like dang way to give her more insecurities. She could have voiced her opinions differently without putting MC down like that.
