i haven’t read the novel but let’s not infantalize aeroc. yes he has ptsd from timeline 1 kloff but this timeline 2 kloff is not the same. aeroc still badly wants kloff, and he’s only scared to pursue things further because of his trauma. it showed in this chapter aeroc clearly reciprocated timeline 2 kloff’s feelings (holding his hand then kissing). and note this was shortly after his ptsd was brought up again. does this not show that aeroc has at least somehow accepted that timeline 2 kloff is different and can be trusted?

if we keep applying this logic to everything it’s just too much. ptsd stays with you for an extremely long time. if someone got sa’ed and has trauma from it now could they not have sex at all until they get over it? because they’re not in a mental state to consent due to their trauma? i personally feel like i can’t even answer this as it’s very case-to-case and also feels like im dictating if it was consensual or not when majority of that decision goes to the actual person because they experienced it. like yes i get telling ur friend “that was not consensual” when they recall their encounter, but there are clear clear signs. not “oh u have trauma from before u still have that remember u can’t consent girl” or “oh ur not in ur right mind because of ur trauma u cannot consent (even though you’ve showed signs you accept them)”

ig my point is ppl are allowed to cross this territory of what could be a red zone to them. yes the state of their mind should be considered but to try to overly protect and consider them is not 100% right either.

Do tell me where I'm infantalizing Aeroc. Because I just love being protective towards a person who has been abused throughout his whole life. Went through a life changing transformation. Lived a portion of their life on the streets alone and constantly raped and then gave birth to 6 children for the man who repeatedly beat him and raped him. To top it off, he died of postpartum hemorrhage. In the name of love, he received cruelty and violence. Even after all that he did not hold any grudge against the man who Literally in all possible ways, ruined his life.

And I say he paid for his sins. A crime committed because of envy and humiliation.

However, Aeroc, in no sense, is in the mental state of consenting to sex. Reason number one would be him being in heat at this moment. An omega is at their weakest in heat and will physically submit to the Alpha they have subconsciously marked as theirs. And the second reason would the most reasonable one, that is, Aeroc literally had a PTSD attack right at the scene where those men cornered him even when Kloff saved him at that time he was afraid of Kloff. Why? Well, Kloff has always be abusive to him.

I'm just assuming from the way the chapter went down. In heat almost gang raped -> witness 3 violent murders -> taken to a house and thrown into bed and held down by the hands. I’ve read the novel, both the English translation and I also read the Korean to completely comprehend the context. Yes at first Aeroc did refused because he was afraid. Kloff was influenced by the marking. But Aeroc did consent before penetration. In the novel it states although Aeroc was shaking his head no, he was not refusing and he also mentioned to Kloff not to stop. My conclusion was, Aeroc was scared based on the assumption Kloff repeating the first timeline. Remember, Aeroc has his full memory of the first timeline but Kloff is only influenced by the marking from the first timeline. It’s good you dropped the story and you and people like you should entire drop the yaoi genre. Obviously it’s not for yall when yall gonna scream gRape for every mediocre occurrence even when it’s not gRape. No critical thinking skills or logic, SMDH.

After kloff killed all those men Aeroc was worried about Kloff and thinking if he was the one who was injured. Being very very concerned. Seeing this Kloff was like yeah he loves me I'm such a fool for not realizing this when he was this serious. And after this and that they ultimately rolled into Kloff's bedroom.

That.. is the problem. No one, in a healthy state of mind would EVER make a choice like that.
