I love that this explores the complexities of a relationship. Everything isn’t sunshine and roses even if both partners have the best of intentions. And emotional baggage coupled with a personality that was developed through years of negative experiences can’t be changed or solved overnight.

I like that the messiness of emotion is explored because this is what it looks like when two adults are in a relationship. Not two stereotypical yaoi tropes.
