My grandma did the same thing as her, spread my number around for men to contact me. That's some breach of privacy, and not only it's illegal, it's also disrespecting my boundaries.

I totally agree with you, but from my perspective she is "helping" him, the people living in a village rarely see something like a gay relationship, so she was shocked and did what she thought would be helpful like him getting a wife and a family with her would make him "happy", I thought that the association of happiness with family was enough to tell you how life was in her perspective, she grew up among old people and still is mostly among old people and their old way of thinking things so that must've rubbed on her too

I don't think people should be that angry at her, she is from a village and she doesn't see things like that so it obviously shocked her, and from her pov she is doing a "good" thing by introducing him to matchmakers so he can get a "normal" life, she is struggling in life and have faced many hardships so she probably don't want him to be in any more out of "ordinary" situation, so the comments calling her a bitch and stuff, stop it's really weird calling someone a bitch when you're a female yourself (most of y'all) and that too for a reason that small as this, I'm sure she will understand later once she gets to know more about their relationship.
