i bet it’s because they don’t match. since they’re at different levels and adam is supposed to guide people who match his skill set it could take a large toll on his body. especially since eve is much stronger than he can handle, im assuming there are side effects that will take place like a loss of eyesight due to constant strenuous guiding. those are my thoughts
