I don't remember saying that I just know that the same people that feel so abooove the eastern authors are usually the same to make eather shit like this or a book without a deapth just so that they wouldn't get cancelled or offend somone (yes I'm talking abt Heartstopper and stupid aah author that generalises the whole continent of Asia). I actually love many weastern authors but we need to criticize them when we need to bcs many of them have some superiority complex and insist that they don't fetishize bl and that every single one of asian authors do so (and then they don't know a single thing abt history of homosexuality in China, Japan or Korea). We need to realise that we are not all that different... we have not progressed as a society at all and have bigger problems to worry abt but yeah

I don't want to be that person but you kind of just did make a generalization towards this artist. It's not to bash you or anything it's just I find it kind of random that you just randomly saying oh all Western artists are so progressive and then they make garbage like this but we don't know if this individual even has these viewpoints. Well yes? Because if a big proportion of people are like this, I am allowed to make a generalization (just go to any sns and see what people say about asian bls, and what they say abt western media). I never said that that "I" think that they're progressive, I said that americans need to get off their high horse, because THERE IS a generalization happening in the west, where they insist that we can ONLY get good lgbtqi+ representation from them, and not from the east. Which is quite comical. There is good rep both from west and east, and also the opposite. I'm just irritated by America's attitude when comics like this are VERY common in the west. We don't know this authors viewpoints, but I don't think that they're all that important. Also, nobody asks korean bl authors about theirs, but they still assume. I'm just giving the same energy.
