why would u wish for them to break up rather than getting through with hardships and be a better person for each other????? Hes not even half as bad as the usual abusive partners in reality and other novels??
Ngl cause waiting for the time he fully realizes what he has missed and i get that they could just make up but in the chapters he just thinks erna will go back to being erna if they argue too so if erna does decide to break it off then maybe he would fully understand? I like Erna, and honestly, I understand why she's in love with him. She knows he doesn't love her, but he's warm and kind to her, even though outsiders can see that he's not really doing enough for her. She's naive, and this is her first romantic relationship. Plus, they're married! She pretty much has to make the most of it. So I don't think she's a doormat, she's really just making the most of her situation.
Bjorn is really pitiful too, I feel so bad for him after everything he's been through-- being betrayed, malicious rumors, being unable to defend himself, etc. But I hate the way he's treating her, and I look forward to time when she leaves him and he suffers for it lol
