I read the spoilers on the novel forum. You can just search "alpha trauma spoilers". If you want to read the novel here's the link.

yea damn people be out here hating on something from the get go. kinda sad but i get it if you dont want something to waste your time.
to be fair not everyone who posted an NU review (aka n0v3l updates review) would understand the story fully and said people would complain in the reviews panel. and since you can write a reply on said reviews there would also be other people who'd defend the novels and make their own review to defend and make people not be afraid of reading it.
then someone who read that review would or might put it in the novel spoilers section cause they read those said reviews. also some peeps on the spoilers would go to the source site (aka the original korean novel) and read either the chapters and just mtl it OR read the korean comments and mtl them to know what the readers think as well.
so you know that sometimes nuances and other things can be left behind.
(ive been reading in NU trust me these things tend to happen you'd see a decent novel and be shocked the rating is 3.5/5 stars because of such things) reviews really do sometimes make or break a novel there especially since people look there first after reading the synopsis. then that's what their first impression of the novel be and leave another hateful review.
lol i say things like I'm defending dohyun but no same as original commenter here. let those who want to read, read it and for those who don't want to, just let it marinate and ask by then if it's worth it.
because to me it seems like author wanted to try a more on heavy or drama side, slow burn, etc.
from what i can see depending on how people phrase the "plot twist" the story would seem from 'meh ok' to 'red flag' real quick
but idk I'm also just a first time reader of alpha trauma. so if there are novel readers here correct me in a decent way and not attack me (hopefully)

Spoilers mentioned that Dohyun was indeed paid by Wooyeon's mother because she's worried about his son and thought that maybe with someone around his age, he'd be able to open up about his struggles. Dohyun can't say no since Wooyeon's mother is Dohyun's benefactor as he is an orphan. She helped Dohyun to find a good family who loved him, and that's happened. To repay, he did that. Dohyun expects that he'll meet a spoiled brat but, instead, a shy one. Dohyun treated Wooyeon genuinely. In this chapter, Wooyeon already knows Dohyun as his teacher as well as Dohyun but he thinks that he doesn't recognize him. Dohyun already had the plan to confess all of it, but he can't get the right time to do it, which causes the conflict of the story.
