iirc the mc & ml are both actors. For the first half of the story the mc and ml star together on this romance film where the ml would give mc tips from time to time because he couldnt stay in character(?). mc is a lesser known actor while ml is more experienced(?)/known in the career. halfway through the story the movie shooting is done & mc and ml split up again, i think mc removes ml's number from his phone. then i think they either meet as mutual guests at a wedding or something and reconnect
