my chinese classmates told me the other day that holding your hand in a seven upsidedown like that means you're calling the other person ugly, but i dont think it works in this case
I like to think of it as a "7 out of 10" kind of thing, which would actually put him at 70%, but I'm not sure if that was how it was meant.
well, ummmm there is this well known religious-connoted meaning to number 7, like in several religions, but yeah XDD i doubt that's what he meant lol (⌒▽⌒)
Also, if the number 7 is sacred it can also mean stuff like spiritual awareness, emotions and feelings etc. omg but since this is chinese i don't think that's the thing XDD
