I don't think he didn't care about him. The fact that he's now looking for him shows how much he actually cares. It was a moment of anger for skylar and he picked the words that would do the most damage.
Saying/Doing regrettable things when angry is part of human nature and aren't necessarily a reflection of someone's true feelings.
I rlly don’t understand skylar at all he didn’t care at all about cirrus after he told him how could he know love, but like now he’s trying to fix something that’s already too late to fix
