Not really if somone tells you to be weary of someone because they are bad news would you still trust them 100%
That's why it's frustrating. The previous season's Maythan won't take any risk. For YEARS he was wary with everyone, good or bad, every action he would think of the consequences, he might help someone but not until he's sure he's safe. He's smart and calculative, but then all of a sudden we got this "naive" Maythan
Wow, the comments are too extreme. Maythan may be naive but that because he trusted Ian. I thought Ian was a bit mischievous but I did not anticipate he was evil. Can't blame Maythan for not knowing. Even if he got a warning from the prince, the warning was so vague. Maythan could have been more careful, but how? Ian didn't show any outward hostility or gave out clues to it. At least our MC will learn from this mistake and try to solve it.
