Agreed. Stress can mess up your decision making, especially at this level. Not to mention she was originally a socially anxious person. Imagine being in a completely new world, knowing absolutely nothing about the way of living these people have yet having to move forward in order to find a way to leave. All while being unable to show your eyes because people will sexually assault and even kill you.
