I may have misread but I didn't see anywhere that the auctions were specifically for men. From the sounds of it, everyone wanted to get invited to the auction and even one of the older ladies was talking about it.
What's even darker is that Moulde recently acquired an orphanage. N we know Emilio is backing Moulde and Moulde family themselves don't have money. So it kinda feels like the orphanage is a front for selling children at auction.
Wtf, they sell people for men in auction? I mean I know slavery was a common thing back then but the fact that it's specifically for men and not for women who also holds high position in the aristocracy makes this whole situation much more darker and more suspicious
