I really thought after the first chapter of the second season that they already broke up and the shit we just saw is their breaking point… damn this sucks bc it don’t match up at all! The author did a horrible job…
it sucks soooo bad it’s such a shame :( the author could’ve done something really good about a couple collapsing under the stresses of a LDR they were underprepared for and overconfident about (& then about them eventually getting back together when they’re more able to approach a relationship after time apart) but. We got whatever the hell this is instead

I liked/was ok with the development of the earlier chapters - but the recent ones feel like it was written by a different completely author. Even the dialogue is cringey. :( I think I’ll drop it and come back later.

these past several chapters have been so uncomfortable, these two should have broken up sooo bad .especially since the next chapter after this seems to be the end…. the resolution is terrible and by ilhoo just rolling with it chaeheon’s possessiveness & lashing out are essentially rewarded. this could’ve really used a breakup (preferably while. they’re still ldr so that entire car situation didn’t have to happen because i think if they broke up in-person around that point it would end violently) + a third season where ilhoo does his best to move on as he adjusts to work & chaeheon has to accept he fucked it up due to his own misunderstandings & that he needs to make an active effort & apology when he returns from overseas, especially now that ilhoo has gotten used to living without him. Alas.
a shame, bc season 1 was quite good. :( i had hope for s2 too because LDRs ARE a lot of effort and i liked the idea of them struggling through it because they underestimated how hard it can be to be apart… but particularly just this reunion was so uncomfortable it kind of ruins the entire story knowing this is the end lol
