MY TIME TO SHINE. So according to Ridibooks the original raw publisher of Reunion and Rainbow city.
"Similar to rainbow city" And the 3rd work they gave me underneath that category IS REUNION so vise versa, Rainbow city is similar to reunion. Therefore try "rainbow city" :3 (dw the plot and the characters are all very very well written)

>:D SO BASICALLY
It’s post apocalyptic setting in which a company had decided to release a virus to sell vaccines Turing everybody into a zombie. The virus started to mutate this rendering the vaccine useless and the world was declared for a state of emergency. As nations fell they banded together in over to stop the spread of the vaccine, creating what is the main setting of the story “rainbow city” in Seoul Korea which was a city mainly controlled by the government split into seven sections to measure the zombie or “Adam” rate, with green being the safest and red being the most dangerous as well as military bases to to train and raise soldiers and hiring and training researchers in order to develop newer vaccines, but the problem was that the virus kept mutating and have already mutated 7 times rendering all the vaccines useless and the story goes from there. The only place unaffected by the virus was JeJu Island which is where the protagonist, Dr.SeokHwa, came from. A 34 year old poker faced genius researcher with a weak body that isn’t strong enough to even run, and had a strong obsession with rocks (reason will be revealed later) who once had been to rainbow city with his mentor but had returned back to JeJu Island to live a peaceful life was now needed to research the new variant. So the city sent soldier “Major Kwak SuHwan” to get him off the Island as well as the job of being the doctor’s personal bodyguard because Major Kwak Suhwan, being the strongest man in Rainbow city, barged into the red zone late at night without warning and caused a shit ton of chaos, massacring Adams just to fuel his alcohol addiction and was now given 2 options. 1. Get Dr.Seok off JeJu island and be his guard or 2. Go to the guardhouse which was basically a detention center for soldiers. Major Kwak, having the most fuckboy personality and was still reluctant to do it, manages to convince Dr.Seok to go back. However, he soon figures out the reason. Dr.Seok’s old mentor had been murdered in the base. With that, Dr.Seok starts to research the death of his mentor and starts to find things in Rainbow City that is not what it seems. WITH MYSTERY, LATER ON ACTION, MANY MANY TWISTS AND TURNS AND OFC HIS SOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH MAJOR KWAK TURNS INTO THE SWEETEST THING!!!!

Yess!!

May I just say that the manhwa up to chapter 34 is just barely the tip of the iceberg in terms of rainbow city plot and the mystery as a whole. the main antagonist hasn't appeared, the massive adam outbreak that will change the entire trajectory of the plot hasn't appeared. The vaccine hadn't been developed with will also lead to further issues for the main leads which will come much much later in the novel. Chapter 34 is barely anything compared to the entire novel. If you want me to spoil the twists and all the events that happen in the novel and why I truly do think that this work is a masterpiece I can explain it all to you. Chapter 34 barely covered the garden of eden who's roots go much much deeper in the entire plot. Not to mention the character's backgrounds and the reason for the way they are isn't even barely covered up to chapter 34. Rainbow city is not one of those works where you can figure out exactly what's happening just by reading the tiny bit of the beginning. If you truly read the entire novel and actually understood the plot and analyzed all the elements, you would realize how much thought went into the novel, and the lore goes much much deeper. So as I said, we all have our preferences, it's okay to not like it but if you're gonna tell me it's not good because of the story itsself im not gonna stand here and say nothing. (also I'm not mad, I'm just trying to say that there's a reason I'm so dedicated to this piece of work. and that it's not just your random zombie apocalypse with characters that have no personality, because I can explain why they're actually well written as well.) so yuhhhh ( ̄∇ ̄")

Let me tell you what I tell you to other people who tells me the exact same thing as you when I try to tell them Rainbow City is a good story. Yes, I do not deny the fact that there is SA at the beginning, but that's all there was. That doesn't mean the entire story and all of the quality of the characters are ruined because of that 1 scene that took up 2 panels MAX. If you really read the story and understood the deep complexity of the dynamics in their relationship, that tiny bit of SA worth 0.1% of the entire story won't even matter. Do I think it's unnecessary? Yes I do, but it didn't make the story's quality any less. IF you are going to argue with me on the quality of the Rainbow City story. GIVE ME examples of the actual plot and it's connections instead of "oh the bit of SA that happens at the 3rd chapter of the manhwa" or just "it sucks because it sucks". I will do the same, I can provide you with examples FROM THE NOVEL of why I think it's weel planned out and well written. SO, if you are going to tell me it "sucks" please provide actual evidence, instead of scenes that bares no contribution whatsoever to the sotry as a whole. (again, I am not denying he did SA the Mc at the beginning, I am saying that that tiny bit of SA is not doing anything significant enough to the plot for you to base your entire argument on) (and again, I am not angry, but if you're going to tell me the story "sucks" give me actual arguments to work with) alright? I'm not mad, ive have conversations like this before.
any good bl manhwas that's similar to the bl Reunion that has a good plot and characters?
