i usually dislike the sudden “discovering they knew each other as kids” trope especially because here it feels like it came out of nowhere and was completely unnecessary … BUT! these side stories are so achingly sweet im crying poor baby dobin. my heart hurts seeing him dirty and neglected, and it kills me thinking that one day with taeoh was probably the last time he felt cared for like that. now i want to see current taeoh spoil him like that again but dobin wont let him
