Mhm, I guess monogamy is the norm in our current society. As someone who's not monogamous (consensually of course, no cheating that's bad) I don't mind seeing polycules. It's the power balance that throws me off. But yes this is also just my thoughts ╮(￣▽￣)╭
oohhhh well i was actually thinking since i wrote my comment that if they ended up going poly then that's fine too. it has its own charm too and it'll be another reason why this manhwa is unique compared to others hehe

Yep, that too. They're only with him for political reasons and he couldn't care less for anyone except the queen. Also him being the King, they're all kinda expected to listen to him and be under his command.
i really really love this manhwa and the emperor and empress are literally perfect for each other. i also love the empress' friendship with the other concubine but.... sometimes i remember that they're all technically married to one man i understand that this is a historical setting and this is perfectly normal in their society but it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth im so sorry i hope that at the end of the story, the emperor divorces the remaining three (??) concubines and settles on monogamy... sasha can be promoted to a government position so she can still spend time with the empress hehe
