The 1st timeline is the novel, the mc is the og Huimin n yes he has double personality to cope with what happened in the 1st timeline. 2nd timeline is the 'real world', spoiler say the real world is Huimin's painting where there's no abo setting n the mom n sister of the 'real world' probably from a facility that took care of Huimin (bcs of his pregnancy) before he died. Maybe Huimin see them as family that's why they become family in 'real world'. N know the 3rd timeline where Huimin thought he's in a novel but it's actually not

I suspected that as much..is it kinda like the fake world he was delusional about just a world that was going on in his head during his past life..it said he went crazy after he lost the baby..ao maybe in his head for that final part of his past life he lived the fake world in his head till he killed himself and got confused when he came to back in time at the auction? I assume after their deaths both were in. Way reborn back to that day..but maybe the ml is the only sane one and is in his own way also trying to save him too

Hmm wonder why..
i keep rethink about Huimin lore, in his first life is so traumatising that he use his painting as escape tool. Then after he regressed, his brain automatically makes him believe that his first life is just novel he read.
So his personality changed upside down due the traumatic experience. Its good to see he was able to be carefree with his life though.
It would be nice lore if we see the traumatised part of his life first, then the sec side story where second life with carefree life. I feel like it would emphasise better
Idk I think the layout is really smart and well laid out. It gives you an expectation and then flips the script with a plot twist that upon rereading is laid out before you but you aren't focusing on the right stuff
the case study being too accurate kinda scary dang, i even started having theory that maybe mc also regress and his memory of his past life is made-up since he is sub personality.
but i wasn't possible to have such detailed past life with his parents and memory with his friend who had ml face
