the ml feelin like mc betrayed him is probably because mc didnt really tell ml his plan in previous life. like mans chased mc down because he was scared and worried for him and on top of that he watched mc die in his arms without bein able to help him because he had no idea what he need to do to help him

Well ML is having second thoughts on being kind to MC remember ML said that he wanted to break MC’s legs just so he can’t run anywhere and stays with ML forever? He refrained from doing that and instead marry the MC because he still is very much attracted to MC. ML’s love towards MC is borderline obsessive to the point of not caring the wishes of the other people’s feelings or opinions.
TLDR; ML felt betrayal and wanted to get revenge on MC at first but he ended up not going through it and married him instead.
