I disagree. It was far from "believable" to fall in love with your abusive superior as much as it is "believable" for a victim to fall in love with their assaulter in most BL. This was honestly mediocre and fumbled pretty badly with Misaki's character as a whole. Being flawed doesn't always make interesting characters.
Everyone's judging Anezaki too hard.
Yeah, he's a dick. He was a pretty shitty superior to his subordinate.
But once they got close, he became less shitty. And yeah, yeah. I know. The only reason that happened was because of the stuff they had on each other.
Yes, Anezaki should have been more careful, but honestly he was drunk and those two guys in the alley forced themselves on him. And then later that jerk Agatsuma forced himself on him. Also, let's not forget his warped reasoning & personal struggle with accepting that gay relationships can be healthy and more than just sex. So anyone slut shaming Anezaki are way off the mark. And anyone blaming him, I have this to say to you~ being drunk doesn't mean it's open season. And knowing that someone is okay with one night stands doesn't mean that it's okay to force them into it.
I don't know what it was, normally a manga like this wouldn't interest me all that much, but I enjoyed it a lot. The characters were well fleshed out.
I somehow found them falling for each other BELIEVABLE.Most yaoi mangas make me cringe whenever a love confession happens because I just can't buy it.But I did believe both of them when they confessed to each other.
I love the way Mikado and him finally did it properly at the end~ consensual sex where the uke isn't always saying NO is so rare and such a great thing to see
