Ikr like why make them suppositly soulmate in the first place. Not to mention the tattoo guy just met the mc bro just for wut like 1 day and the dude literally went off to somewhere for 9 year and he out here doing the most just get the dude he just met for the first time to like him by using his og soulmate to do it too the mc is a devoted lover type and I just can't help but feel devastated over it. He had love the tattoo guy and that guy love his bro and now he fall head over heel over the dude who made his life go downhill.
So truuueee like what is even the reason for the red string at this point???? If I remember correctly the red string (in legend/most stories using the trope) sort of draws the two people together. Why does it only seem to affect the MC in this story??? It's no longer even a plot tool anymore it's just... there. And what frustrates me the most is not that the MC is suffering in the hands of two assholes, but because I KNOW that these two aren't even gonna pay for their asshole deeds. There's a high chance there won't be a satisfying groveling/chasing arc because this is a Korean manhwa. It's very rare for them to make asshole semes suffer enough.
