Reverse guide means he's rejecting her.
It's not necessary rejection as far as I know. I think it's just that the guide doesn't have the control over her powers and that the esper is the one who is actively taking the guides power which is uncomfortable for the guide cuz they just get their powers taken. Could also be harmful cuz it's forceful uk ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Ye exactly that's why a lot of guides don't like espers who can reverse guide/force guiding
