About the erotic content in the manga a the novels: it seems to me that Sensei is being asked to add some kind of erotic content by request of her publisher, maybe she prefers to add those in scenes where there is more sense. Maybe she intended to give us something with Yoh and Fei without it having so much eroticism (kisses and a little foreplay), who knows.

Maybe I lost something in the translation, but I think it was meant to be open-ended. Not that the intent was to make them a couple for sure or end them for sure, but to leave it up to the reader (and for future stories maybe). If it is my choice, in my mind, Yoh proves himself and wins Fei. Unless the official story picks it up in some way, we'll never know for sure. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

In the fifth volume postscript...the author said that Yoh will not betray Asami, and if Asami will command him in the future he will not refuse...You kown FeiLong will not forgive the betrayal, so...I think it should not be possible in the manga (￣ε(#￣)Σ

I think Asami believes Yoh is dead by now. Yoh didn't come back to him after all the matter in the casino ship. Asami offered him protection from Fei. Fei discovered Yoh was working for Asami, but he didn't kill him. In the novel it's written that Yoh accepted a last mission from Fei in exchange of forgiveness. So, Yoh is clean now.
