I believe if he hadn't been injured, there would have been NO beginning of JJK's longing for Doc Dan and how he is perfect, and before that happened, there would have been no appearance of Doc. Dan and Jaekyung together. This is just the beginning of the events from the author :(

Would he be thinking of Dan is it weren't for his injury and the state he's in? If he were healthy and still the champion would he even think about him? I think sure once in a while maybe, because Dan is the sweetest thing, but not enough to act on it. I like this type of arc, I think it kinda gets you thinking. Hope his shoulder rots tho:)
