Kunimasa probably doesn't want to corrupt Norio because of his purity and innocence. Kunimasa is doing what he thinks is best for Norio, because Norio is the way he is, Kunimasa thinks he will be crushed under the weight of being the 'wife' of a "mafia boss" (borrowing from the mafia boss and civilian analogy).
Yes, but that's an objective view, and kunimasa has a subjectove view, much less clear. My interpretation of why kunimasa broke up with him was largely because he didn't want to subject Norio to the pain and trials that come with it, especially since norio didn't really expect it. It's one thing to think that someone could do it, even if it'd suck, it's another to want to make them go through that. And you don't always see the one you want to protect clearly.
If you think about the abuse, controlling behavior and head screw the poor guy went through with his one parent, you'd be a mess too. Part of the reasons why he didn't want to hurt Norio... and a little info on the jaguar.... http://www.nhptv.org/natureworks/jaguar.htm

Isn't Kunimasa just overreacting? Why is it so hard to be with the one you love?
