Hmm well I have a feeling that it’s not going to be Yanu who tries to destroy the city, the story has been mentioning other dragons and from a spoiler I read (not gonna say the specifics cuz spoiler) they have a reason to but I’m not sure if they actually do it or not
Yanu chose Eyra as a lover, but he doesn't know if Eyra is his mate. IDK if you want spoilers (yes, I read the novel), but the story does explain everything towards the end and it has a pretty intricate plot.

I kinda don't get the story. Now that he found his mate/lover why does he still need to destroy the city????? Like that's where his mate lives. If Eyra just explained how important the city is to him I feel like Yanu wouldn't? Maybe someone can help explain it to me cuz I just don't get it
