Damn, I think you're right! The thumb shouldn't be on the inside if the palm is below the fingers- that'd make it a right hand rather than left. Either the artist made a mistake from the get-go or they might've drawn the hand and then vertically flipped it after not liking how it originally looked- maybe it wasn't dramatic enough of a pose, I dunno. I'm usually good at noticing errors like that, I guess I was just reading that chapter too fast- haha!
